Lisa’s Soccer Fitness Clinics
The purpose of these sessions is to allow parents the chance to workout either with their children, or to workout while their children are watched by an onsite babysitter. These are pickup fitness clinics designed to help improve your endurance, agility, and overall fitness. You come when you can, if you want. You participate at the level you choose. The first 30-45 min is devoted to sprinting and agility exercises, followed by some core work, then some knee injury prevention drills. Following the fitness session, I run a short lesson on various soccer topics, then we have a 1 hour parent/child scrimmage.
You don’t have to be a parent to participate, as long as you can adjust to having children involved in the clinic as well. The scrimmage is designed to cater to a lower level of competition to suit beginners, and those wanting to work on their skills in a non-threatening, fun environment. Participation is voluntary.
Babysitting onsite is $10/per 2 hour session, payable directly to the sitter. For older children who do part of the session, they need supervision by the babysitter at the playground, the cost is $5.
