San Jose to play preseason matches vs. Dynamo

SAN JOSE, Calif. - The San Jose Earthquakes announced today the team will play two exhibition games against Houston Dynamo. The first game will be on February 13th, 2008 at 6:30 p.m. at PAL Stadium in San Jose. The second game will be on February 16th, 2008 at 7:00 p.m. at Kezar Stadium in San Francisco.

"We are very excited to be working closely with PAL Stadium and Kezar Stadium and to kick off our 2008 exhibition games" stated David Alioto, Executive Vice President of the San Jose Earthquakes.

This game will mark the first time that the Earthquakes play since they left San Jose in 2005. The Earthquakes with Joe Cannon, Ryan Cochrane and Nick Garcia in the back will look for their first win during preseason.

The game at PAL Stadium is free for all Earthquakes season ticket holders. General admission will be $15 with $10 going towards the Police Athletic League. At Kezar Stadium all tickets will be $15 general admission.

If you haven't already heard, the City is placing a bond on the February 5th ballot to fix more of our parks in San Francisco. I would really love your help with getting the message out via your contact lists. We need to get 67% support on the ballot, and it is a big job, reaching out and educating people about what the "Clean and Safe Neighborhood Parks Bond" is and how great it is.

If you are excited about continuing to fix our parks in the City, the campaign website gives you multiple ways to help. You can volunteer in the following ways;
1. Neighborhood walk to educate your neighbors
2. Phone bank to educate voters
3. Setup a presentation for your neighborhood association, PTA, etc.. and of course
4. Donate money
